Tsuga
Tsuga Sieboldii


An evergreen tall tree with greyish brown bark.

This species is a dominant tree of the temperate coniferous forests in Soutern part of Japan in association with Abies firma.
Over an elevation of 1500m it is substituted by Tsuga diversifolia.

The wood is used for buildings, paper pulp.

Distribution ; Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu, Korea
