Yachidamo
Fraxinus mandshurica


A large deciduous tree with thick greyish white fissured bark.

Leaves are decussately opposite, pinnate with 7-11 leaflets.

Leaflets are opposite, sharply serrulate on the margin, without petiole, rufous tomentose.

This tree is found on river banks and wetty area in the subfrigid to cool temperate zone.

The wood is used for furnitures, utensils, sporting goods, veneer.

Distribution ; Hokkaido, Honshu, Saghalien, Korea, Manchuria, Amur, Ussuri, China
