Yurinoki
Liriodendron Tulipifera


A deciduous large tree with smooth later fissured bark.

Leaves are like Japanese short coat "hanten", so it is called Hantenboku.

Flowers are big and yellow, resemble to that of tulip.

It was introduced into Japan early in the Meiji era, afterward it has been planted for street tree and garden tree.
